Selectmen miscellaneous papers, 1785-1873.

"Aprize" of bread, weight of bread set by selectmen on monthly basis (many missing) for various sized loaves; small handsewn daybook; orders to pay; meeting notices; miscellaneous correspondence; communications addressed to selectmen from various towns, churches, and individuals about relief money after fire of 1830, selectmen circulated request for help, received money, and dispensed it through Committee to the Needy; and bills and receipts numbered 1 through 326 paid by selectmen for town of Gloucester.
